We are a working vineyard and boutique winemaker in the heart of Piedmont’s Barbera d’Asti growing zone.  We offer guests the perfect vineyard retreat to experience the best of Piedmont Food, Wine and of course White Truffles.

Situated near Nizza Monferrato, Asti and Acqui Terme our hilltop location affords peace and tranquillity in luxurious B&B suites or in self catering apartments.

Wonder through our own vineyards growing grapes that we make into Barbera d'Asti and Moscato d'Asti DOCG wines.  Explore the rolling hills and historic villages that make up the Monferrato and Lange region of Piedmont.  We are centrally located to afford guests a great base to reach much that Piedmont has to offer including the Italian Lakes, The Alps and the famous towns such as Barollo and Barbaresco.  The Italian Riviera is equally a short car journey away.

Food Wine & Truffles

Our most popular weekend event last year – experience the sights and scents of the famous Piedmont white truffle every weekend in October.  We visit the Alba Truffle fair, take an early morning search for truffles in the surrounding woods and vineyards and sample the best of Piedmont restaurants and wines.  Click here for availability and more details

Introduction to vineyard management, spring

New for 2008 – A week long immersion course into the complexity and truthfully hard work of managing a vineyard from a very hands on perspective.  Join us in the vineyards as we undertake all the essential tasks as our vines go from winter dormancy to spring buds and flowering (the vine flowers as part of the process of producing grapes).  During each growing season each vine must undergo at least 100 unique operations in order to produce an optimum grape destined for fine wine.  Includes lessons on how to use the essential machinery of the vineyard. The Siege of Canelli, 3^rd weekend of June

Possibly the best of all historic festivals in Piedmont, this is the celebration and re-creation of the famous 1633 seige where the townsfolk joined the Savoy garrison troops to repel its would be Monferrato captors.  Every year the town and its inhabitants are joined by enthusiasts from around the world to re-enact the historical siege.  Some 3,000 people converge here, many dressed in costumes of the age and the whole town becomes part of the 17^th century.  Witness key events from the siege, duels with cold steel, battles with ancient cannon and cavalry charge.  You can also experience the food and wine of a town under siege and the celebration when the siege is lifted.   Lots to see and do for adults and children. An opportunity to practice your hobby, passion or new interest in the heart of Piedmont with location based photo shoots themed around vineyards, winemaking and distilleries.  Daily learning photo shoots followed by peer review and coaching  from experienced guest photographer.  Plenty of opportunities to relax and enjoy the best restaurants of Piedmont during this fully guided week.  Ample relaxing alternatives for partners who are not participating.
